The Lounge Newsletter: Broadcasting live from our couch 🛋

Quick poll: Is time moving A) really slow or B) really fast for you these days? We only ask because, for us, it's felt like a wild combo of both. [Insert upside-down smiley face emoji here.]

We've found that during these tough times, one of the most anchoring things for us has been creating and (trying our best to stick to) at-home routines. Our routines are like bookends and train tracks — defining and guiding our time so that we don't lose ourselves in the midst of social distancing. We'd like to encourage you to take a breather and ask yourself, what do I want my days to look like in this "new normal"? You might create a list that looks like this, for example:

Wake up at 8 am.
Log some physical activity right off the bat.
‍Start working.
(Actually) take a lunch break at 12 pm.
Get some fresh air at 3 pm.
Snooze work notifications at 5 pm.
Facetime a friend.
Work on a puzzle.
Take a bath.
Read a little.
Go to sleep sometime before 11:30 pm.
